A Look in the Past- Day 3: Aged Paper

My hands look so much fatter with short nails. Anyways, I did this in March 2012. I did these with the help of a nail tutorial by Robin Moses. I praise that woman. Her videos were what got me form where I was in the beginning to where I was when I started this blog. And that within two months. So if you haven't seen any of her videos go watch one now.
Instead of the newspaper print I stamped the letters with Bundle Monsters BM-311 stamping plate.

  1. Gorgeous mani!! So many different effects I had to look at it for some good 10min!
    Lovely, lovely, lovely!
And no, your fingers don't look fat with short nails - although I kinda think we all tend to think like that ;)

  2. I gotta say, I like yours better than Robin's. The second pic is AMAZING. What did you use to color the print part? You should do your own tutorial for this. I would love to do the aged newsprint but without flowers...cuz I suck at them lol. I think it would look cool just with the aged newsprint though.

    1. The newspaper is mostly acrylic paint, the black and shading were done in polish. The flowers were actually really easy to do. I will do a video tutorial for it, when I have the time. Oh, and thanks for the nice comment :)

  3. These look amazing! I agree, I like yours better than Robin Moses' (I never thought I'd say that to ANYBODY)! The blue flowers look lovely :)
