Dragon Ear Cuff Review

I have wanted this earring since forever. I think it looks absolutely awesome. However I hadn't bought one because I was worried how it will hold up, will it be heavy, do I need a piercing on the top part of my ear (that really should be written that in product information (you don't, by the way)). Since there are no reviews of this earring, I thought I'd post one.

I got the product in both, copper and silver. You get only one earring per color, I got the left one in both. There are stores which sell a pair (nevertheless, I would only wear one at a time). So, I don't know it these are all left or are given out randomly.
The earring didn't weigh much and was comfortable, after getting used to it.
I got a looot of compliments on this earring, people asked if they could take a picture, and where did I buy it. Never before have I realized how extremely uncomfortable it is to have 10 people staring directly at my ear.

You can buy this earring from here. These are on sale now, so hurry :)

Born Pretty Nail Art Brush Review

This is a review of some nail art brushes I got from Born Pretty Store.
I absolutely adore these brushes. They are perfectly pointy and soft. They come in these plastic tubes, which are excellent for transporting the brushes safely.
I think it's safe to say that these brushes make a difference.
If you are interested in buying these brushes, you can do so here.

Harlequin Nail Art

This is a review of the QA56 stamping plate from born pretty store.

I love the designs on this one.
And this is the the design I created with the stamping template. I wanna hug the cute little harlequin monkey, awww.
If you are interested in the product, you can find it here.

Mickey Mouse 3D Nails

I did these for a nail art contest held at Nailed It.

Gosh I hate 3d, it always looks so imperfect, and mistakes are really hard to hide.
Mickey, Minnie and some of the hearts are sculpted from acrylic powder.
And don't forget to enter my Born Pretty Store giveaway!!

Okay okay THIS is the LAST cookie I am having

So, I received this gorgeous green glitter polish form Born Pretty Store.

I absolutely adore this shade. The pictures show 3 coats of polish. One coat of this polish dried in 2,3 min. It's a gelly polish so it's very translucent. It's like a brush on gelly sandwich manicure. It's also quite easy to apply.

Look, this has got to be the cutest little monster ever. So happy with his little cookie, awww. I just want to hug the little guy.
If you are interested in this polish you can buy it here. And don't forget about mu coupon code SCL91

Scary Clown Nails

It is almost summer vacation!!! ALMOST
However, I still have 3 really important exams to do. And, boy, do I hate exams. I can't eat nor sleep and my hands are shaking soo much that I can't drink a cup of coffee without spilling half of if. Now, don't you dare think that I am not studying, just because I took 5 min off to post an old design.
Which do you like better, the creme or the holographic?
I fell completely in love with the holographic polish. The rainbow glitter-ish effect is awesome. Not much of a fan of the shade though (it's China Glaze - FYI).

Man Glitter

I have just made up the stupidest title for a post.
Behold, I present to you the manliest set of holographic glitter nails.
Anyone ever wondered how holographic polish looks like mattified? Well, this is it. I feel so badass wearing these. This is how I imagine glitter particles in ManGlaze (my favorite non affordable nail polish brand).

Pandora's Makeup Box- Polish and Perfume Duos

So, a few days ago I received these adorable little polish and perfume sets from pandora's makeup box.
Aren't these boxes just the cutest?

Citrus Playful:

According to the website the perfume has Top Notes of Aldehydes, Galbanum, Orange Blossom. Middle Notes of Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Rose. Base Notes of Musk, Cedar, Amber, Oakmoss. Now, if you are like me, you have less than no idea how all these ingredients smell. Id say it's quite spicy, reminds me of orange leaves.
I hate red nail polish. Like really really hate red nail polish. It's the prefect way of saying look at me I have no imagination and am just as unique as a toothpick. However it is a very vibrant and pretty color, just not on my nails. Nevertheless, the polish is very shiny and not very opaque. Picture shows two coats of polish. The brush and the formula are amazing. I have had really shaky hands today and yet the polish applied perfectly without need for cleanup. If you are having  hard time applying nail polish, this is the one to get.

Aqua Pretty:
The perfume has top notes of Hyacinth Flower and Bergamot, heart notes of Violet, Jasmine and Linden; and base notes of Musk, Moss and Cedarwood. Smells weird, I am hating the jasmine.
I love this color. I have a bag that I carry around 24/7 and it's the same color. Just like Citrus Playful, it's shiny, not very opaque, and applied perfectly. Picture shows two coats of polish.

Floral Passion:
The perfume has top notes of Pineapple, Blackcurrant, Honeydew, Melon and Lotus Blossom; heart notes of May Rose, Jasmine and Water Lily; and base notes of Peach, Mulberry, Sandalwood and Vetiver. This is my favorite of the bunch. It's sweet and very fresh.
The color is also very pretty. And like the others it's shiny, not very opaque, and applied perfectly. Picture shows two coats of polish.

In Conclusion:
I really love the small perfume. I am always leave my house running, always forget to put on perfume. These are just so perfect for traveling. The polishes are also nice, I just can't repeat enough how impressed I am with the formula and brushes. However cheap as I am, I don't think that I would pay $25 for these. Then again, these would make an adorable gift for someone.

Beauty and The Beach Competition

Beauty and the Beach is probably the biggest competition of the season. With a whopping prize of $1500. However with a amazing prize come amazing entries. Also the hardest challenge of the season. But, hey, I'll give it my best shot. If you are interested click here for more information.

Nails:
I have always liked the idea of surfing. However, the drowning shark filled reality might not be that great :)
I started off with a light and dark orange sponge gradient. Then I painted the tips blue and sponged the waves. Then I painted the surfer, the birds and the board in black. Later I filled them both in with different shades of gray.

Makeup:
Since when do I have green eyes?
I am very impressed with this picture, my camera has a habit of making me look as bad as possible. You should have seen the rest of this (gaaaaah). Anyway, I started off with a shimmery green and later circled it with a shimmery yellow. I added black eyeliner, then curled and painted my lashes.

Hair:
You can't control everything, and your hair was put on your head to remind you of that. That is my one and only rule when it comes to beach hair.
Here is a short and slightly useless tutorial on how I Handle my naturally curly hair on the beach:
Step 1: Wash hair.
Step 2: Allow it to dry naturally. (Don't you even think about piking up a hair drier. If you do You will end up looking like a clown, I mean literally. (Here is an image of what I mean)
Step 3: Straighten it.
Step 4: Tie it up so it won't get curly on the way to the beach.
Step 5: Arrive to the beach, untie hair.
Step 6: Look fabulous for 5 seconds.
Step 7: Boom! Humid sea air.
Step 8: Look like a clown.
Step 9: Hide head under sand, and hope no one notices you.
