Guest Blogger: Plumeria19

Here is a post by Gillian Lee form Plumeria19, go check her out.

Hello there Brush Me Blush readers!!! I'm Gillian from a small blog called Plumeria19, where I do nail art and all that jazz. I'm also extremely excited to be posting on Brush Me Blush today, we all see really intricate, amazing nail art and I'll be sharing a little bit of my nail art here. Today I have some Yoshi nail art, as a massive Nintendo fangirl it only made sense to do some nail art of the cute, green dinosaur.

I love all the Mushroom Kingdom characters, but who can deny how adorable Yoshi is!! :3 Yoshi makes the cutest sounds and he also makes levels in New Super Mario Bros. Wii ridiculously easy when I inadvertently decide to suck haha. On my index and middle finger accents I painted some Yoshi eggs.

Green: Illamasqua - Nomad
White: Barry M - Matt White and Lovely Me:Ex - White
Orange: Essie - Fear Or Desire
Black: Lovely Me:Ex - Black
Red: Essie - E-Nuff Is E-Nuff

And a close up of smiley Yoshi, I freehanded this bit of nail art with nail art pens, toothpicks and the brushes of the nail polishes. I was so obsessive about getting the proportions and details of Yoshi's face right, I have to do justice to him :P The eyes were difficult to say the least. But overall I am pretty pleased with how Yoshi turned out. Yoshi sticking out his tongue makes me feel that little bit more cheerful ^_^
Thanks to Ria for letting me guest post, it's been fun to post for such a talented blogger! Thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!! :)

Guest Blogger: Oh No, Not Another Nail Art Blog

So today's post has been provided by Francesca from Oh No, Not Another Nail Art Blog. Make sure you check it out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, this is Rebenice from ohnonotanothernailartblog.blogspot.com and I am very happy to be a guest in this blog.
I really like the works done by the mistress of the house, as I told her, I think that her nails become small masterpieces.

For this occasion I did a nail art with mixed technique: Acrylic and nail polish.I chose some of the colors I love most and I've tried to mess around a bit....but let the images speak!

I hope you enjoyed my post...Thank you so much Ria Marii for having me!!!

BEAN ME

So, I have just survived a overnight flight across Europe, and I am extremely exhausted. I didn't sleep much on the flight, since while sleeping I have the tendency to rest my head on the shoulder of the person on my right. Luckily that didn't happen. Now, I am in need of some sleep or huge amounts of coffee.
Looks quite coffee-ish, don't you think?
I literally fell asleep while waiting for this image to load.
Anyway, I think Garfield doesn't look crazy enough. He looks too happy, but whatever.

Salt Painted Nails!?

As it happens, someone left me alone with box of watercolor and some salt. This is the result.
Would anyone care for a tutorial on this?
Yay or Nay?

Cheshire Cat Nails

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for the nice comments on the previous post. Really, it meant  lot to me. And, as you can see from this post, I have decided to keep fucking the system and keep painting nails MY way. After actually considering changing my style, I realized that I would never give up my individuality in exchange for popularity.

Why has it taken me so long to realize how awesome the characters in Alice in wonderland are?
On a side note, my nails are so damaged from the 3d acrylic design, that I did some time ago, that I had to trim them down :(. I'll be posting old designs for a while. If anyone would like to do a guest post here, let me know in the comments. Has to be nail (or beauty) related.

Inheritance Book Art Nails

Sorry for not posting for a while. I have lost all of the last11 competitions I have entered. And most of the winning designs have been really low level and boring. Therefore I am really uninspired, unmotivated and  having some sort of confidential crisis.
Perhaps I should start doing designs solely using stamping and tape. Make them all look basically the same just with a bit of a color difference, like sooo many nail bloggers with thousands of followers, fans and prizes.
For now, see an old design of mine.

This is a replica of the cover art of the book Inheritance. I love this. But perhaps, tomorrow or the day after I will dump the monsters and the harlequin monkeys to make room for for swirls and pretty colors.

Edward Scissorhands Nail Art

Gosh, I haven't posted anything for a while. I've had a 3 day power cut. If you think surfing the Internet is a waste of time, you should try being without it. I'm also seriously lacking inspiration. Anyway, here's some nail art.
