A Look in the Past- Day 6: Bows and Stripes

 
Yes, I know these are really blurry, but if you can, imagine bows and stripes on a mint background.

I tried a new shading technique for this design, and I am not sure what to think of it. Does anyone want to share their secrets of shading?
