Jester's Jellies

It's december of 2013 and I have finished my first jelly sandwich manicure. Boooy, did I miss the jelly train, or what. I used Kiko- 298 and Essence- Glorious Aquarius for the jelly sandwich.
This is a review for checkered full nail stickers from Born Pretty Store. I really liked these. They are something in between water decals and regular (small) nail stickers. They stick really well, but are not bulky and they are very flexible so they leave no air bubbles.

Paint Splattered Water Decals

Oh, wait, I have two hands now don't I.
As you may know I have second degree burn on my left pointer finger, and first degree burns on my ring and pinky finger. (That's what you get for straightening your hair on a monday.) So my swatching hand is not exactly photographable. How did it take me a week to realize that I can paint my right hand too.
Getting back to the review now. I got these water decals from KKCenterHk. I'm not a big fan of these decals. First of all, they are really sheer and can only be applied over white. They are also too narrow for my nails, none of these fit on my thumb and the black one was way to small. They were also hard to apply, as they were stiff and didn't stick to the nail at all. I know water decals aren't supposed to be sticky, but newer before have I had to hold the decal down until completely dry so it wouldn't immediately lift. It's a shame, because I really like this design.

Review for 15 Brush Set From KKCenterHk

So; I received this set of 15 brushes from KKCenterHk. I love this kind of sets. They have almost every brush you could possibly need. I already had 2 sets similar to this, one at $2,99 and the other at about $5-8. The set I am reviewing costs $13,50. I've got to say that this set is waaaaay better than the cheaper ones. As someone who buys the cheapest version of everything possible, it pains me to say that the quality of paint brushes shows in the price. The all the brushes are perfectly soft and pointed (at one angle at least). The detail brushes are the textbook definition of perfection. Seriously.
Btw: Use the code "brushmeblush" to get a 10% discount when buying from KKCenterHk.
And to show you these brushes in work I have prepared 4 video tutorials for you.

Rainbow Saran Wrap Mani

This is a review for round silver studs from KKCenterHk.

Gosh, I haven't used acrylics in ages. And thanks to that, my skills using them have dropped tremendously. Oh well. I have been doing a lot of acrylic designs in the past few days. But, as they're just for practice I probably won't be posting any. I have got like the cheapest acrylic powders you can find, could that effect the final result? Yeah, maybe. I messed up at least 4 or 5 bows. But I really like how the bows look on this mani.

Girly Skull Nail Art

This is a review for the striped bluesea from KKCenterHK.
I believe I have said this before, but I am a huge sucker for bows and skulls. And I have no idea why. I actually had these nails when I received the bluesea, originally the skull had a 2D bow, but I just thought the  3D bows would look even better on this mani. Just look how cute that flirty little skull is :).
And look how cutely packed the bows are in that miniature baggie. Aww. And who knew these cute thingies are called bluesea.

Multicrome Glitter Nail Polish Review

Gosh, my last post was 10 days ago,  I have been trying to find functioning cameras for a while and testing them, so I have completely forgotten to make any posts. I left my own camera in Spain knowing that my grandfather buys a new camera every three years and the whole place is filled with them. All different sizes and looks, one older than the other. I have like 4 ancient cameras on my nightstand. Surprisingly, not many of them work, or have been lent to someone. So I am left using a pentax k10d that works only when and where it wants to, complete with a SD card that only saves about half of the pictures. Enough of chatting,  time to get to the actual review.
I am reviewing a translucent glitter polish from born pretty store. See here.
The polish has a gorgeous multicrome shine. Would make a simple french mani angelic. The polish smelt quite cheap, but preformed well, the brush was a bit fanned out which I didn't like. It dried in 4,5 min.

Shiny shiny polish
You can buy this polish for 7.99 from here.

Pandora's Makeup Box- Polish and Perfume Duos

So, a few days ago I received these adorable little polish and perfume sets from pandora's makeup box.
Aren't these boxes just the cutest?

Citrus Playful:

According to the website the perfume has Top Notes of Aldehydes, Galbanum, Orange Blossom. Middle Notes of Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Rose. Base Notes of Musk, Cedar, Amber, Oakmoss. Now, if you are like me, you have less than no idea how all these ingredients smell. Id say it's quite spicy, reminds me of orange leaves.
I hate red nail polish. Like really really hate red nail polish. It's the prefect way of saying look at me I have no imagination and am just as unique as a toothpick. However it is a very vibrant and pretty color, just not on my nails. Nevertheless, the polish is very shiny and not very opaque. Picture shows two coats of polish. The brush and the formula are amazing. I have had really shaky hands today and yet the polish applied perfectly without need for cleanup. If you are having  hard time applying nail polish, this is the one to get.

Aqua Pretty:
The perfume has top notes of Hyacinth Flower and Bergamot, heart notes of Violet, Jasmine and Linden; and base notes of Musk, Moss and Cedarwood. Smells weird, I am hating the jasmine.
I love this color. I have a bag that I carry around 24/7 and it's the same color. Just like Citrus Playful, it's shiny, not very opaque, and applied perfectly. Picture shows two coats of polish.

Floral Passion:
The perfume has top notes of Pineapple, Blackcurrant, Honeydew, Melon and Lotus Blossom; heart notes of May Rose, Jasmine and Water Lily; and base notes of Peach, Mulberry, Sandalwood and Vetiver. This is my favorite of the bunch. It's sweet and very fresh.
The color is also very pretty. And like the others it's shiny, not very opaque, and applied perfectly. Picture shows two coats of polish.

In Conclusion:
I really love the small perfume. I am always leave my house running, always forget to put on perfume. These are just so perfect for traveling. The polishes are also nice, I just can't repeat enough how impressed I am with the formula and brushes. However cheap as I am, I don't think that I would pay $25 for these. Then again, these would make an adorable gift for someone.
